Your privacy matters. Latex Equation Editor is designed so that your work stays on your device.

Information we do not collect

We do not require an account, and we do not upload, store or view the equations you write. Rendering, exporting and saving all run locally in your browser.

Data stored on your device

• Equation library: saved equations are kept in your browser's IndexedDB. Clearing site data removes them.
• Preferences: theme and language are kept in localStorage.
• Offline cache: a service worker caches the app so it works without a connection.

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Server logs and analytics

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and operation. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Cookies

We do not set tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

Fonts and code are served with the site itself. If we add third-party services such as analytics or advertising in future, we will update this policy first.

Children's privacy

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
